The B17 is suitable for long-distance riders as well as more sport-oriented recreational cyclists. The model also has a version for women called the Brooks B17 Short. The basic version features black steel rails. Every BROOKS leather saddle comes with a tensioning wrench and a 5ml sachet of BROOKS Proofide leather dressing for the first treatment. The B17 model, which has been our best-selling saddle for over 100 years, is the ideal saddle for commuting, gravel riding, road cycling, and touring. Thanks to its flexibility and hammock-like construction that adapts to every pedal stroke, the B17 saddle is exceptionally comfortable and is designed for a riding position with a 60° angle. Handcrafted in England from beautiful and durable 100% vegetable-tanned leather that individually adapts to each rider, the B17 saddle is finished with premium steel rivets and rails. Standard models have black steel rails, the B17 Special model has copper-plated steel hardware, and there is also a B17 Titanium model. Both the B17 Special and Titanium models also feature hand-hammered copper rivets. Made in England. We use only the highest quality vegetable-tanned leather, which ensures strength, beauty, and durability. Handcrafted since 1866.
