Pillar Energy Gel 30 with wild berry flavor is a plant-based energy gel designed for quick and easy energy replenishment during physical activity. One 50 g gel provides 30 g of carbohydrates.It uses a combination of different carbohydrate sources, including maltodextrin and fructose. The dual carbohydrate system utilizes different transport pathways in the gut, allowing for more efficient carbohydrate intake during performance than a system based on a single source.
The composition also includes pectin, a natural plant-based gelling agent that thickens the gel and creates its smooth consistency. Pectin does not increase osmolarity, which is the concentration of dissolved particles in the gel. This can affect how well the digestive system tolerates the gel during performance. Energy Gel 30 is caffeine-free and designed to be easy to use even during intense performance.
