The FOX 38 Factory Grip X2 E-Optimized 29" suspension fork for the 2027 model year is the top product in the high-travel fork segment, designed for modern enduro and e-MTB. This version, specially optimized for e-bikes, can handle the increased demands and higher weight of e-bikes thanks to a reinforced crown construction and a robust fork steerer, ensuring maximum steering stiffness. The fork is equipped with the latest Grip X2 damping cartridge, which provides an extraordinary level of adjustment and control. Thanks to the increased piston diameter and redesigned valve system, it reacts sensitively to small bumps while remaining stable during aggressive braking and steep technical passages. Genuine Kashima Coat minimizes friction, contributes to the iconic look, and extends seal life.

  • GlideCore air spring with both horizontal and vertical compliance minimizes friction between the spring and the upper leg, increasing sensitivity to small bumps
  • Increased bushing overlap by 20 mm, which reduces friction under side loads and extends service intervals
  • Integrated MCU Bottom-Out Bumper ensures a progressive end of stroke, delivering a "bottomless" feel even on the hardest impacts
  • Updated Grip X2 damping cartridge with improved compression control for maximum stability and responsiveness
  • Generative bridge and lower leg design optimizes stiffness without unnecessary stiffness, improving maneuverability in challenging terrain
  • Mudguard compatibility thanks to the same mounting system as the 36 and 36 SL models
  • Float EVOL air spring with optimized negative air volume for a more linear ride and better support in the mid-stroke
  • Integrated bypass channels in the lower legs increase air volume and reduce unwanted pressure build-up during deep dives
