The FOX 40 Factory GripX2 29" suspension fork for the 2027 model year is designed with the clear goal of being the fastest downhill fork. The engineers have reworked every detail, from the shock absorber to the air spring to the lower legs, to achieve the most responsive and consistent fork yet. This fork provides the rider with maximum control and confidence even in the most demanding downhill sections.A key innovation is the deployment of GlideCore air spring technology, which significantly reduces friction and, thanks to the increased volume of the negative chamber, provides unparalleled sensitivity at the beginning of the stroke. A new generative lower leg design for the 29" version delivers higher stiffness at lower weight, while the updated GripX2 cartridge unlocks even more performance for professional racing use. The fork features Genuine Kashima Coat inner legs and a 20mm DH Boost thru-axle.
