The RockShox Vivid Coil Ultimate DH is a shock designed for downhill bikes that combines decades of coil shock dominance with modern performance. It delivers an unmistakable spring feel – responsive at the start of the stroke, with support in the mid-stroke and adjustable backstop (ABO) for sure control at the end of the stroke, ensuring unwavering consistency and predictability. The shock is designed to work as a system with your Charger 3.2 fork and shock, with new RC2 main piston compression settings providing reliable mid-stroke support. Intuitive high-speed (HSC) and low-speed (LSC) compression settings allow for quick and clear setup.

  • New RC2 damping provides a wide and usable range of low-speed (LSC) and high-speed (HSC) compression adjustments without interfering with each other
  • New numbered compression knob for intuitive adjustment – ​​start at “0” and easily add or reduce damping
  • New base valve with 40% reduction in IFP forces, making the shock the most sensitive on the market while maintaining perfect traction
  • New master cylinder compression settings matched to Charger 3.2 damping performance, focused on mid-stroke support
  • Adjustable Backstop (ABO) offers a convenient dial with five different compression settings to customize damping in the last 20% of the stroke
  • Removable rebound knob doubles as HSC and ABO adjuster
  • 20 clicks of rebound adjustment provide consistent rebound curves combined with a wide adjustment range for a consistent ride feel for a wide range of rider weights
