Tubeless disc wheels Zipp 454 NSW are the best road racing wheels. They offer everything a performance cyclist demands. They are aerodynamically efficient and stable in all weather conditions. What's more, the wider rim is designed for lower pressure tubeless tires to reduce rolling resistance and dampen vibrations, so you lose as little energy as possible on the road. For the best combination of aerodynamics and rolling resistance gains, 28mm tires are recommended for these wheels. The wavy 58mm deep Sawtooth rim profile with Hyperfoils is Zipp's most aerodynamic and stable rim.454 NSW feature Zipp's Total System Efficiency (TSE), an approach to combating speed's greatest enemies: wind resistance, gravity, rolling resistance, and vibration losses. And gravity? The use of hookless rims on the 454 NSW is an integral part of Making You Faster. With hookless, the transition between tire and rim is smoother and more aero. Zipp hookless rims have more efficient resin distribution during manufacturing, meaning lighter and stiffer wheels.
454 NSW is equipped with the premium ZR1 SL hub with ceramic bearings and 66 points of engagement. The hub is also 30g lighter than the hub of the previous NSW bike.
