Cycplus L7 tail light with radar

hello, I'll try to add something too, I was also hesitant, what kind of radar, yes, we all probably know the Varia, but I wanted to try something new with better functions, after all, I've had the Varia for a while now and the micro USB is not really that good, maybe you can say, just plug in the cable and go and ... but I have a multi charger with 4 ports and I have USB C everywhere, but to the point:
- the packaging and construction are appropriate and there is something most of all in the form of a saddle holder plus of course a seatpost included and I also like the tightening strap and not rubber bands, they are also one bigger and one smaller, the construction is absolutely gorgeous, I have nothing to say about it
-functionality fuh here I'm probably going to be stoned by the Garmin Fun team... but where does the cycle end, the brake light function begins, the double warning sounds now I don't know if it has GPS or radar this option, what's most important in weeks of use I haven't had any false spirits and now the endurance is also 25h... I have about 11h and the battery is 55% connected to the GPS Magene C606, the flash auto/off works beautifully, I don't understand how everything works so beautifully, the stated brightness of 40lm is fully sufficient even in bright light, I originally didn't read anywhere whether the radar works when the car is moving or if it starts flashing when it's boiling, but yes it flashes nicely and clearly for 90e, an excellent radar and I dare say better than the ones from Varia for a cup of coffee, once such a price

ahojte skúsim aj ja niečo pridať tiež som váhal aký radar áno všetci asi pozname variu ale chcel som skúsiť niečo nove s lepšími funkviami predsa varia ma už nejaký piatok a ten micro usb to ako fakt nie možno si povieš ved kabel zapojis a ideš a ... ale mam taku multi nabíjačku na 4 porty a mam tam usb c všade ale k veci:
-balenie a konštrukcia je prikladna a niečo aj najviac v podobe držiaka na sedlo plus samozrejme na sedlovku vrátane a paci sa mi taky utahovaci pasik a nie gumičky tie sú aj jedna väčšia a menšia, konštrukcia úplná parada tam nemám čo povedať
-funkcionalita fuh tu ma asi ukamenuje team garmin fun...ale kde varia končí cyclus začína fukncia brzdové svetlo,dvojite zvuky upozornenia teraz neviem či to ma gps alebo radar túto možnosť čo je najdôležitejšie za týždne používania som nemal žiadneho falošného ducha a teraz výdrž no ludia aj 25h...mam cca 11h a bateria 55% spojenie s gps magene c606 bleskove auto/vypnutie krásne funguje až nechápem ako to krásne všetko ide,svietivosť uvadzana 40lm je plne dostacujuca aj za ostreho svetla,pôvodne som sa nikde nedocital či funguje radar keď ide auto či mu to začne blikat ako varia ale áno bliká to pekne a vyrazne za 90e výborný radar a dovolím si povedať lepšie ako varia za pokaly raz takú cenu

I've had the Varia for 2 years and then I noticed this and hesitated... why not buy another radar for half the price as a backup and test it at the same time...
At first I was hesitant about this and the Magene L508. After a few YT reviews I decided to buy this one.
So far actively tested on several rides - about 400km.
The battery is fantastic - about 16 hours in various modes, in my opinion, as declared (Varia lasts a maximum of 12 hours in flashing mode).
It detects all cars, pedestrians, scooters, dogs without any problems, I have never had it fail to detect one, even when there are 5-6 of them behind me, it shows me the exact number.
"Ghosts" appear from time to time but it is also comparable to Varia. The second thing is that Varia detects itself in the mirror and L7 does not.
Pairing with phone, Garmin Edge 530, Fenix ​​6x Pro watch and Magene C506 cycling computer is hassle-free.
The workmanship is fantastic and USB-C charging is a huge plus compared to the Varia.
The light is also a bit weaker compared to Varia.
I recommend it to anyone who is thinking about buying - don't make a mistake. For this price, TOP!

Variu mam uz 2 roky a potom som si vsimol toto a vahal... preco by som si do rezervy nekupil este jeden radar za polovicnu cenu a zaroven ho aj otestoval....
Najprv som vahal nad tymto a Magene L508. Po niekolkych YT recenziach som sa rozhodol ze su kupim tento.
Zatial aktivne testovany na niekolkych jazdach - cca 400km.
Bateria je fantasticka - cca 16h v roznych modoch, podla mna ako je aj deklarovane (Varia vydrzi maximalne 12h v blikajucom mode).
Vsetky auta, chodcov, kolobezky, psov detektuje bez problemov, ani raz sa mi nestalo zeby nejake nedetektoval aj ked ich je 5-6 za mnou, ukaze mi presny pocet.
"Duchy" sa objavia z casu na cas ale je to tiez porovnatelne s Variou. Druha vec je ze Varia detektuje sama seba v zrkladle a L7 to nerobi.
Sparovanie s telefonom, Garmin Edge 530, Fenix 6x Pro hodinkami a Magene C506 cyklopocitacom bezproblemove.
Vyhotovenie je fantasticke a USB-C nabijanie je obrovsky plus v porovnani s Variou.
Svetlo je tiez trosku slabsie v porovnani s Variou.
Odporucam kazdemu kto uvazuje nad kupou - nespravite chybu. Za tu cenu TOP!

I bought it because of the radar capability and fortunately it works well. I mainly use it in this mode. Paired with a Garmin FR 165 watch, I can see the dots indicating approaching vehicles in color. The beeping and vibration are also enough to detect them after a while. There are sometimes false alarms, but with getting used to it, this can also be easily distinguished from the real ones, its frequency is not disturbing. However, it always indicates real cars, there is no mistake.
If there are more of us riding and I'm not at the end of the line, it doesn't work well due to the distraction effect and there are a lot of false perceptions.
The mounts work stably both under the seat and when mounted on the tube.
I have to look back much less often. It worked for me, I would buy it again and recommend it to others.

A radar képessége miatt vettem és szerencsére ez jól is működik. Főleg ebben az üzemmódban használom. Garmin FR 165 órával párosítva színes képen látom a közeledő járműveket jelző pontokat. A csipogás és rezgés is elég egy idő után az érzékelésben. Van néha téves riasztás, de megszokással ez is könnyen megkülönböztethető a valóditól, nem zavaró a gyakorisága. A valódi autókat viszont mindig jelzi, nincs tévedés.
Ha többen tekerünk és nem a sor végén megyek, akkor a zavaró hatás miatt nem jól működik és sok a téves érzékelés.
A rögzítések stabilan működnek az ülés alatt is és a csőre szerelve is.
Jóval ritkábban kell hátra néznem. Nekem bevált, megvenném újra és ajánlanám másoknak is.

I can compare it with the Garmin Varia radar, which has a more robust construction and mount to the holder, the functionality is approximately the same, the Garmin's workmanship clearly gives a higher quality impression, the Cycplus is a bit more affordable.

Funguje solídne /ale prejazdil som s ním zatiaľ tak do 400 km/, vosidlá idúce za mnou zaznamenával spoľahlivo; dvakrát mi ukázal "ducha", zhodou okolností zakaždým pri jazde po Kukučínovej ulici v BA, boli tam len zaparkované autá a nič sa za mnou nehýbalo . Dobrou vychytávkou je poistné lanko, ktorým sa dá radar zabezečiť proti strate. Môžem porovnať s radarom Garmin Varia, ktorý má robustnejšiu konštrukciu aj uchytenie do držiaka, funkčnosť je približne zhodná, dielenské spracovanie Garminu pôsobí jasne kvalitnejším dojmom, Cycplus je cenovo o niečo výhodnejší.

It had a couple of false alarms, especially when passing bushes in windy and rainy weather, but not a disturbing amount. I think it's strange that there is no brake light function in flashing mode. The radar detects from afar, if a moving object is on the radar, it doesn't drop it even if it picks up my speed, it keeps the signal until it overtakes it, or turns off, or stops. Many cheaper radars can't handle this, but it's important! Overall, I can only recommend it. Correct device!

Volt egy két vakriasztása, főleg szeles esős időben bokrok mellett elhaladva, de nem zavaró mennyiség. Furának gondolom, hogy villogó üzemmódban nincsen féklámpa funkció. Messziről érzékel a radar, ha egy mozgó tárgy felkerült a radarra, akkor sem dobja el, ha az felveszi az én sebességemet, addig tartja a jelet, míg az meg nem előz, vagy nem kanyarodik le, esetleg áll meg. Ezt sok olcsóbb radar nem tudja kezelni, pedig fontos! Összességében csak ajánlani tudom. Korrekt eszköz!

The light is smaller and lighter than the Garmin Varia.
The downside is that you don't know when the light is charged and it doesn't hold the battery capacity. After charging, the app shows a max of 97%, after a few days it's only 70% without use.

Svetlo je menšie a ľahšie ako Garmin Varia.
Nedostatok je že neviete kedy je svetlo nabité a nedrží kapacitu batérie. Po nabitý na ukazuje aplikácia max 97%, po niekoľkých dňoch už je len 70% bez použitia.

Veľmi zlá skúsenosť s produktom. Svetlo ešte ako-tak dobré, ale ako radar nepoužiteľné. Radar prakticky nevedel zaznamenať blížiace sa vozidla, často ho zaznamenal až v momente, kedy bolo vozidlo až na mojej úrovni. Inokedy zaznamenal oproti idúce autá, ktoré sa dostali za môj chrbát. korektne zaznamenal možno jedno, nanajvýš dve vozidlá z desiatich. Pri takom fungovaní prakticky nepoužiteľné. Vyskúšané pri jazdách v celkovej dĺžke as 200 - 250 km, viacnásobne skontrolované správne nastavenie funkcií, umiestnenia a upevnenia na bicykli, výsledok vždy rovnaký - absolútne nespoľahlivá, resp. nefungujúca radarová funkcia. Produkt zaslaný na reklamáciu - vybavená k plnej spokojnosti s vrátením peňazí. Nahradené Variou, ktorá pri rovnakom umiestnení na bicykli funguje úplne spoľahlivo.

Na základe mojej skúsenosti určite neodporúčam experimentovať s týmto radarom, ale ísť do overenej klasiky. V mojom prípade bol produkt použiteľný maximálne ako zadné svetlo.

Definitely don't buy if you have experience with Garmin radar. It constantly reports ghosts, even among real moving cars.

Rozhodně nekupujte, když máte zkušenosti s garmin radarem. Neustále hlásí duchy a to i mezi opravdu jedoucími automobily.
