Petzl ATTACHE BAR SCREW LOCK HMS carabiner, grey
Thanks to its compact shape and lock security, this carabiner is used for belaying, attaching a progress capture device to the harness, belaying with a Munter hitch, etc. The divider keeps the carabiner oriented along its major axis for optimal loading and prevents it from being cross-loaded. The H-shaped cross-section, obtained by hot forging, reduces the carabiner's weight without compromising its strength. The KeyLock system prevents the carabiner from snagging.
Use with the divider:
- The removable divider keeps the carabiner oriented along its major axis and prevents it from twisting and being cross-loaded through the gate
- The divider cannot be closed unless the gate is closed and locked
- The gate cannot be opened as long as the divider is closed
Carabiner without the divider:
- The size of the rope contact surfaces has been optimized to maintain fluidity while removing excess material
- The gate has a new surface for better handling
- The smooth transition between the gate and the carabiner body reduces the risk of slings or straps snagging on the gate or lock
- With the Keylock system, slings or ropes do not snag on the carabiner during handling
- The SCREW-LOCK locking system has a locking indicator
- The contact surfaces facilitate smooth rope passage and good positioning at the belay station
- The shape is adapted for easy tying and untying of a Munter hitch
