Vision METRON40 SL DB-CL 28" wheelset, disc, tubular, carbon, thru axle, Shimano HG
The Vision Metron 40 SL Disc CL Tubular wheels are based on 40mm high aerodynamic tubular rims made of UD carbon.
The specific "U" profile of the rims was developed based on extensive CFD analysis and wind tunnel testing. It guarantees excellent handling and stiffness of the wheels in all conditions, especially in crosswinds.
The wheels are laced onto Vision's second-generation disc hubs equipped with P.R.A. (Preload Reduction Assembly) technology and high-quality bearings to minimize friction and maximize power transfer efficiency on a 17mm internal axle.
Changes are made to the freehub body, which has a 5mm greater distance between bearings and wider pawls.
The front wheel features a lacing pattern consisting of 21 spokes. The rear wheel features 24 spokes.
The alloy freehub body is compatible with FSA, Shimano, and Sram 9/10/11Speed cassettes.
The wheels are supplied with a transport bag and Vision QR-93 quick-release skewers. The package also includes adapters for the front hub for 12x100mm and 15x100mm thru-axles, and for the rear hub for 12x135mm and 12x142mm thru-axles.
The minimum recommended tire width is 23mm.
