Ergon SR Pro Carbon Women saddle, 152 mm
Ergon developers have come up with a completely new concept for women's saddles. To create a new generation of saddles, they used X-rays and CT scans during research. Professional racers from the Canyon/SRAM team participated in the research.
Women are significantly more mobile in the pelvic area than men. In the typical racing bike riding position, the pelvis often tilts forward more. This causes significant pressure in the genital area. The SR Women distributes sitting pressure in a more forward-leaning position, and the wide V-shape design corresponds to the shape and mobility of the female pelvis.
Due to the characteristics of the female pelvis, women suffer on standard saddles. The SR Women relieves sensitive pressure on soft tissues with a narrowed relief channel, which prevents numbness and pain. Relieving this pressure better distributes body weight and at the same time allows for a more comfortable position.
The saddle features OrthoCell® inserts, which are more durable and lighter than gel, ensuring optimal pressure distribution and providing the highest rebound force. This means that with every pedal stroke, they copy the movements of the pelvis and return to their original position very quickly. Orthopedic foam ensures comfort and is extremely durable at the same time.
The ramp at the rear of the saddle provides effective support for your buttocks. The ramp keeps you supported, so more power goes into the pedals.
For even greater comfort, the saddle has anti-friction sides. This feature reduces friction of the thighs against the saddle while pedaling.
