DT Swiss M 1900 Spline Boost 27.5" Boost Front Wheel
The wheel is suitable for very rough surfaces with jumps and steps up to approx. 120 cm high at speeds of 40 km/h. For riders with very good riding skills.
1900 Spline is the first step in the MTB DT Swiss line, where the company aimed to achieve reliability while allowing the rider to focus on the moment of free riding. This is aided by the aforementioned Ratchet LN freehub system in the case of the rear wheel.
Compared to classic pawl hubs, which have a small engagement area, this one in the Ratchet system has a much larger one and all teeth engage simultaneously, which puts little strain on the hub and ensures higher reliability.
The rims on the 1900 Spline are not welded, but are joined by a sleeve joint - a precise sleeve insert - which is more efficient in production than a welded rim, but meets the same testing requirements and the additional weight is minimal.
M 502 uses eyelets and no PHR. Both rims share optimized balance of durability and weight. Thanks to the internal width of 30 mm, tubeless installation is user-friendly and provides the tires with the necessary support.
