The Varia™ cycle radar is a solution for better safety of cyclists when riding on normal roads, where there are frequent accidents caused by rear-end collisions.
Varia™ can register and warn the driver of approaching vehicles from a distance of up to 140 meters. As part of the setting, the connected unit triggers an alarm (sound warning) immediately after the vehicle is registered.
Varia™ also recognizes the speed of the vehicle and if it approaches too fast, the display will turn red and the reverse LED light will change (increase) the intensity (flashing).

The latest model of the Varia™ cycle radar with an integrated camera for video recording of rides in high resolution 1080p at 30 fps. The active cyclo-radar alerts you to vehicles approaching from behind while driving and at the same moment starts to signal your presence on the road to the approaching vehicle. Varia™ RCT715 model provides automatic video recording during rides thanks to its equipment. Settings, analysis and possibly processing of recordings is available through Varia App. Available camera recording settings include non-stop recording, automatic recording in the event of incidents or radar detections and so on.

Design of the bicycle mounting bracket has also been improved, which includes adapter for different shapes/profiles of seatposts - from standard round to AERO profile. New Varia™ RCT 715 model also supports multiple configuration profiles for optimal use, e.g. when cycling in peloton, the radar will reduce the lighting intensity when flashing at approaching vehicle, so that you do not blind your fellow cyclists in peloton.

Video záznam sa dá stiahnúť i do počitač a ko či aj datový kabel a či sa staršie videa automaticky vymažu alebo to treba spraviť sam.

zial nie, RDU10 je podla specifikacie vyrobcu kompatibilny len s RVR315 / RTL510 / RTL 515.

standardne nie, bateria je vstavana, pri jej vymene hrozi poskodenie produktu, resp. je to pomerne narocny technicky proces - vid. napr. aj priamo tema na Garmin fore: https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/cycling/f/varia-series/351134/battery-replacement.

Ja mám dané zariadenie ale mám otázku ako Vam trvá nabitie baterie z prazdnej do uplne plnej mne zda že to trvá dosť dlho pritom orginal garmin nabijačkou.

Radar nemá chybu. Je to síce moje prvé zariadenie tohoto druhu, ale je to skvelý pomocník lebo naozaj odhalí autá, ktoré nemáte šancu počuť. Na displeji sa krásne zobrazí ako sa približuje - chýba mi tu už len režim spätného zrkadla, možno to ale neskôr dorobia
Translate by GoogleShow the originalSamotné video záznamy je potom lepšie pozerať na PC (zapojiť kábel a počas nabíjania môžete pozerať videá) ako cez aplikáciu - kde aj podla recenzií to trvá neskutočne dlho niečo načítať.
Občas to detekuje aj stromy a iné objekty za vami, prípadne auto na ceste, ktoré je 2m vedľa cyklotrasy. Ale radšej viac ako menej. A určite sa vždy obzrite, majte na pamäti že môže dojsť baterka, môže sa niečo pokaziť - určite by som sa na to slepo nespoliehal, že by som len tak vybočil z dráhy na hlavnej ceste alebo kdekoľvek inde
Kamera nemá optickú stabilizáciu, bude to problém asi v lese alebo na rozbitých cestách. Inak všetko super, zvyšuje to pocit bezpečia a určite odporúčam.
