The following instructions should always be followed in order to prevent personal injury and physical damage to equipment and the surroundings. The instructions are classified according to the degree of danger or damage that may occur if the product is used incorrectly.

WARNING
- Do not disassemble or modify the product. This may cause the product to malfunction, you may fall unexpectedly and be seriously injured.
- Before riding the bicycle, check that the wheels are securely fastened. Incorrect use of the axle release lever may cause the wheel to fall off, etc., and may lead to serious injury due to a fall or collision.
- Use the appropriate air pressure marked on the tire and rim. If a maximum pressure is indicated on the tires or rims, do not exceed the maximum pressure with the lower value. Pressure higher than specified may cause a sudden blowout and/or sudden tire release and cause serious injury.
WH-R9270-TL / WH-R8170-TL / WH-RS710-TL: maximum pressure = 7.5 bar / 109 psi / 750 kPa
WH-R9170-TL / WH-RS770-TL: maximum pressure = 8 bar / 116 psi / 800 kPa
WH-RS370-TL: maximum pressure = 6.5 bar / 94 psi / 650 kPa
WH-RX880-TL / WH-RX870-TL / WH-RX570-TL: maximum pressure = 5 bar / 72 psi / 500 kPa
- Before riding the bicycle, check the wheels to make sure that the spokes are not bent or loose and that there are no nicks, scratches, or cracks on the rim surface. If you find any of these problems, do not use the wheel. The wheel may break and you may fall. Check that there is no carbon peeling or cracking.
- Do not use the road wheel set on unpaved surfaces. The road wheel set is designed for paved surfaces. If the wheels are used on unpaved surfaces, they may bend or be damaged, which may result in an accident.
- Do not use the GRAVEL wheel set in harsh conditions, such as on rough roads. Do not use it for downhill or freeride cycling, otherwise the wheel may bend or otherwise be damaged if subjected to a strong impact and may result in an accident.
- Do not use with rim brakes. These wheels are designed exclusively for use with disc brakes. Using these wheels with rim brakes can damage the rims and cause an accident that can result in serious injury or even death.
- Check that the axle release lever does not interfere with the disc brake rotor even when fully engaged. If the axle release lever is on the disc brake rotor side, it may interfere with the disc brake rotor, which is dangerous. If the axle release lever interferes with the disc brake rotor, stop using it immediately and contact the place of purchase or a distributor.
- Details on the E-THRU axle are provided in the user's manual for the E-THRU axle.
- Tires should be installed and removed by hand. If this is difficult, you can use a resin tire lever for tubeless wheels. In such cases, be sure to check the rim surface for dents, scratches, or cracks, as there is a risk of damage to the air seal between the tire and the rim, which may result in air leakage. For carbon rims, check that there is no carbon peeling or cracking. Finally, make sure there are no air leaks.
F12 (front 12 mm axle), R12 (rear 12 mm axle) wheel (hub axle)
- This wheel may only be used in combination with a special front fork/frame and hub axle. If used in combination with any other front fork/frame or hub axle, the wheel may become detached from the bicycle during riding, resulting in serious personal injury.

CAUTION
- Please note that a higher rim is more easily affected by the wind and causes instability in riding.
Warm-up time
- Disc brakes have a certain warm-up time, and the braking force gradually increases as the warm-up time increases. Make sure you are aware of such increases. Otherwise, you may lose control of the bicycle, fall and be seriously injured. The same situation occurs when replacing brake pads or the disc brake rotor.
