v podstate 3x8 presmykac nemusi byt problemom, mal by fungovat spolahlivo, avsak radenie moze byt o nieco pomalsie - 9-rychlostna retaz je uzsia ako 8-rychlostna a tak na nu klietka (ramienko) presmykaca nemusi dosadat idealne.

Kazdopadne z 3x9 modelov odporucame idealne prave tuto Aceru T3000 pod ktorou komunikujeme - defaultne je urcena pre 44-48T max. prevodnik, avsak spolahlivo bude fungovat aj s 42T prevodnikom, kapacita ramienka je az 22 zubov (rozdiel velky-maly prevodnik). Ine MTB modely od Shimana (napr. Acera M3000) su urcene len pre max 40T prevodniky - ramienko tak moze pri optimalnom nastaveni kolidovat s vacsim prevodnikom.
