Year-tested, very reliable and affordable, the Crossride model has improved its quality thanks to the new design of the front and rear hubs, where both have aluminum hollow axles. These are compatible at the front to 15/100 mm (the package includes a reduction with a clamp) and at the back to 12/135 mm (the package includes a reduction to 12/142 mm and to a standard quick release). Mavic Crossride wheels also have new Alu freewheels called TS-2, which also positively reduce overall weight. The rims have cold-forged holes for nipples with an H2 patent. This strengthens the material around the hole and the rims at the nipples do not crack. The wheels have flat air spokes.
