The 25mm internal width aluminum rims are suitable for riding with lower air pressure, minimizing rolling resistance. The new Ratchet LN freehub is highly reliable in outdoing itself and other riders.

The wheels are suitable for rough paved and unpaved surfaces, for riders with advanced riding skills. For wheels, jumps up to a height of approximately 60 cm are permitted.

The 1900 Spline is the first step in DT Swiss's MTB line, where the company wanted to achieve reliability while focusing the rider on the given moment of freewheeling. This is helped by the aforementioned Ratchet LN freehub system.
Compared to classic ratchet hubs, which have a small engagement area, the Ratchet system has a much larger engagement area and all teeth engage simultaneously, which places less strain on the hub and increases reliability.

The rims on the 1900 Spline are not welded, but are connected by a sleeve joint – a precision sleeve insert – it is more efficient in production than a welded rim, but meets the same testing requirements and the additional weight is minimal.

The X 432 rims used with an internal width of 25 mm are lighter than those with 30 mm. Lower weight is essential for acceleration because the rotating and accelerating mass can be kept lower, which is why the X 432 rim is only available in 25 mm.

Champion DT spokes, made of special steel and with a diameter of 2.0 mm, are reliable and durable spokes that allow every rider to enjoy freewheeling moments on the trails.
