Vault is Race Face's first hub developed completely from the ground up. The bulky shell of the hub increases torsional and lateral stiffness, and the proven 6902 bearings were chosen for the large diameter of the ball and durability. The 60-tooth engagement ring alternately engages six double tooth pawls, giving you a 3° engagement for near-instant power transfer. The wide bearing placement (70.4 mm) was designed to reduce stress and improve bearing life. These internals are protected by low resistance labyrinth seals designed specifically for Vault hubs. Changing the hub ends is done without using tools - and you have a hub that not only moves faster, but also adapts faster.
