The Hope Pre 4 hub is the successor to the highly successful Pre 2 Evo hubs and brings three main improvements. They use a new 44-tooth ratcheting mechanism, which makes the onset of power transfer when pedaling 10% faster than the Pro 2 Evo hubs. The second change is the taller hub flanges for more stiffness when using the wider tires that are the trend now. The last major change is the new nut, which is ready for Shimano's new 12-speed cassettes.
Warning - the hub bears small traces of the installation of another nut and is thus offered at a discounted price.
