There are actually two different Squale skins. The first 26x2.3" version, which has a slightly different stud pattern, was co-designed with Nicolas Vouilloz. The later 2.5" version was slightly modified by the Hutchinson UR team. cornering more predictably. Both of these variants are aggressive enduro and DH tires. The wider 2.5 tire is also a tri-compound. 2 compounds on the studs (one central compound and one that holds in turns). The third compound is harder, is located under the studs and serves to support them during extreme acceleration, braking or cornering.In addition, the 2.5 cord of the tire consists of two 66 TPI layers stacked on top of each other, making the tire durable, robust and puncture-resistant in any situation.

TPI (EPI) - the density of the shell's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible and flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The cover can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The shell is inflexible, it is heavier than the Kevlar one.
