The magnet in the speed or cadence sensors and the time spent aligning with the sensor have been a nightmare for cyclists for decades. We said a lot - there is a lot. Precious minutes spent bent in the corner of the garage with a small magnet can still be much better used by "swallowing" diet segments.
Simply insert the battery, program the sensor to either measure speed or cadence and drop it on the left crank or wheel hub - it doesn't matter if it's front or rear. This discreet, flat sensor is a step forward, multiplying the benefits that accelerometer data offers over a magnet that is common in competing products.
