The Toro is an excellent "all-rounder" tire that excels on a variety of terrains and conditions. The UK magazine Singletrack recently named it the best year-round bike tyre. Available in various tubed and tubeless versions, the Toro also comes in "Hardskin" and "Race Riposte" versions. Hardskin is puncture resistant - a durable aramid fabric barrier protects the shell (and core) from punctures. Race Riposte is a special compound that has good grip and yet has excellent abrasion resistance. Tires up to a width of 2.3 are two-component, while tires with a width of 2.3 and above have one more hard compound under the tread to help stabilize the studs in DH conditions. Toro is also produced in specific compound hardness versions specific to XC, enduro and DH.

TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
Wire tire - bead made of wire. The tire is inflexible, it is heavier than Kevlar.

MTB tires 26" from Hutchinson
The brand Hutchinson was established in 1893 in France, and they produce tires for all types of bikes. One of their milestones in their history is the patented kevlar guard layer in one of their road tire in 1988. Hutchinson was the first to supply the market with tubeless MTB tires and road tires since 2006. Many wins on Tour de France, the Olympics and new speed records were made with this brand.
