Pirelli Scorpion™ Enduro R 27.5x2.4" HardWALL tire

The R model has a specific design for the rear wheel: added traction for better transmission of power from pedaling and higher braking efficiency, as well as greater durability for fast and confident driving on different surfaces, dry and wet. In addition, the casing is characterized by a high level of reliability and a long service life.

The Pirelli Scorpion Enduro is a complete model range of tires designed for your daily dose on the trails. They are designed to withstand rough terrain and handling, which is made possible by new fast and more durable wheels. The Scorpion Enduro is designed to provide excellent grip and reliability even during heavy use on your local trails or in bike parks with lots of potholes and rocky passages. The construction relies on the HardWALL frame and the SmartGRIP rubber compound.

HardWALL
With a toe-to-toe nylon protective layer integral to the braid and a thick rubber insert across the toe, the HardWALL construction is designed to handle brutal handling with ease and protect against punctures. The incorporation of these reinforcing elements together with the 60 tpi nylon braid contribute to a durable construction that promotes reliability and ride quality without compromising on weight and pedaling efficiency.

SmartGRIP
The top rubber compound is a product of Pirelli's experience gained from off-road racing circuits for 2 and 4 wheels all over the world. Pirelli engineers have developed a compound with two diametrically opposed properties:
• resistance to cutting: guarantees maximum mechanical adhesion and grip in dry conditions and higher puncture resistance together with a longer service life
• chemical wet grip: there is no need to think about changes in conditions, whether it will rain or whether there will be muddy and slippery sections on the track

TPI (EPI) - the density of the tire's skeleton fibres. The higher the TPI value, the more flexible the tire will be.
Kevlar tire - foot made of Kevlar fibres. The tire can be folded, so it is more practical when moving or storing. It is characterized by a lower weight compared to wire casings and a higher resistance to puncture.
