Sidas Ski Ultrafit Race socks in black are high-performance ski socks that provide precision, compression, and accurate power transmission. Made from merino wool, durable polyamide fiber, silk, and elastane, these socks feature a Grip Yarn anti-slip strip and guarantee optimal performance.
Ski socks for expert skiers in the new Sidas Race colorway are ultra-thin, woven with dense fibers (200 needles), and completely smooth on the inside, without excess fibers. They provide maximum possible performance and comfort while skiing. These socks are very thin and adapt to the foot, acting more like a second skin, allowing the skier to precisely feel the feedback from the ski boot. Organic merino wool and recycled polyamide (EcoTech design) are used.
This sock model is used by top World Cup racers. Sidas is, for example, the official partner of the German Ski Federation in the field of bootfitting (anatomical insoles, fitting slippers, socks).
Ski Ultrafit socks also promote blood circulation and stabilize muscles through light compression (20 to 30 mmHg). This leads to faster recovery and better muscle protection, as well as increased performance.
The precision of power transmission depends on the thickness of the socks and the density at which they are knitted. In addition to a very thin and densely woven construction, these socks have a carefully sewn inner side to prevent any fibers from protruding (In & Out construction). Thanks to this, they adapt perfectly to the foot and do not cause pressure points - reinforcements in sensitive areas of the foot also protect against these.
A silicone anti-slip strip on the sole improves foot contact with the insole and helps with better stability. The foot is thus in direct contact with the boot, allowing the skier more precise power transmission.
Merino wool provides thermal comfort and wicks away moisture.
