The Natex bio-fiber guarantees maximum drying speed, while the Flexicorn elastic fiber from corn seed contributes to an ergonomic fit without compression.
A SUSTAINABLE ALTERNATIVE TO ELASTANE
FLEXICORN is a plant-based biopolyester. Extremely elastic and flexible, it retains its original shape for longer, is resistant to wrinkles and UV radiation. FLEXICORN has allowed us to replace synthetic elastane fibers with a recyclable, more sustainable, and less polluting material. This innovative yarn comes from corn that is not used for human consumption and glucose fermentation. With FLEXICORN, we have reduced energy consumption, CO2 emissions, and the environmental impact of our products. FROM PLANT-BASED INGREDIENTS The FLEXICORN polymer is produced using corn seeds, plant-based additives from renewable sources HIGHLY ELASTIC Thanks to its micro-zigzag structure, it always returns to its original shape FAST DRYING FLEXICORN fiber is breathable and increases the drying speed of the garment.
EUCALYPTUS WOOD HAS NEVER BEEN SO COMFORTABLE
Wood obtained from eucalyptus trees becomes ECOLYPT, a 100% sustainable natural fiber with exceptional properties. The characteristics of the wood pulp from which it is derived give ECOLYPT strength and great elasticity. Its structure is composed of very small hydrophilic fibers that absorb up to 50% more moisture than cotton. Furthermore, the fiber is highly breathable, minimizes odor formation, and thanks to its temperature-regulating properties, it can provide a cooling effect in hot temperatures and warmth in cold weather. The entire production process of ECOLYPT fiber is characterized by a closed loop: all water and enzymes are recovered and reused in the next production process.
INSULATING MICROCHANNELS
Knees and elbows are subjected to a high level of stress during exercise. Ligaments can be quickly injured, especially in cold weather. That is why these areas are enclosed by a three-dimensional honeycomb system to create an insulating layer of air around the joints.
MERINO WOOL
Merino wool is appreciated worldwide as merino wool. It is known for its minimal weight and a seductively soft feel against the skin. UYN further optimizes these excellent material properties through a special production technology that combines merino and FIBRESIST to achieve a pleasantly soft and quick-drying result.
EVEN MORE FREEDOM OF MOVEMENT
The shoulder area is made from a single piece of fabric without vertical seams. Greater freedom of movement, greater support for muscles, and for posture.
VENTILATION
The channeled inner surface promotes constant airflow. It quickly wicks away sweat, cools the body during activity, and keeps the skin dry.
