The TRAILTALON MAX is one of the most cushioned trail running shoes in the Inov8 portfolio. The improved anatomical fit of the shoe is exactly what you need for long distances.
The FLYSPEED™ Pro cushioning super-critical foam is a soft, responsive nitrogen-based foam that extends the life of the cushioning. The midsole reaches a height of 24 mm under the heel, which already means good protection against hard impacts on the surface. The medium 6 mm drop does not detract from the naturalness of the run and at the same time facilitates the transition from impact to push-off. The BOOMERANG TPU insole adds to the comfort.
This wide version with ample toe box space supports proper toe function. Reinforcements in the instep area, on the other hand, adequately secure the foot, so you have maximum confidence in the shoe even in technical terrain. The gusseted tongue prevents stones from getting inside. The overall durability of the upper is enhanced by the rubber rand and toe bumper.
The aggressive lug pattern with 6mm studs ensures excellent traction in wet and muddy terrain. The new lug design is inspired by chamois hooves. Channels inside the studs effectively drain water. G-GRIP with graphene additive increases abrasion resistance and overall grip.
