Tip: for the HM61R V2.0 headlamp, we recommend purchasing a second mount, so you won't have to remove the straps from the original mount and can just swap the headlamp between mounts.
Note: When mounting on a helmet with vents and ribs (e.g., a cycling helmet), the adhesive tape may not adhere to the entire surface. Fenix ALG-03 V2.0 Helmet Mount for Headlamps
Fenix ALG-03 V2.0 is used for easy attachment of Fenix headlamps HL55, HL60R, HM61R, HM65R (not compatible with HM65R-T) HM65R-T V2.0, HM70R, HM71R, HM75R, HP35R to outdoor, sports, and work helmets. The mount plate attaches to the helmet with the supplied double-sided adhesive tape, and the headlamp without straps then simply slides into it.Tip: for the HM61R V2.0 headlamp, we recommend purchasing a second mount, so you won't have to remove the straps from the original mount and can just swap the headlamp between mounts.
Usage
Attach the mount to the helmet using one of the double-sided tapes and let the adhesive cure for 72 hours. The headlamp can be attached to the mount by simply sliding it in. On the helmet, choose a spot that best follows the shape of the mount, and the headlamp can be adjusted to the desired lighting direction. Hello, I have a Fenix HM65R light that I want to use for night skiing. I have it on my cap above, but I use a helmet when I go downhill. Is it possible to use this holder + light in such a way that I just move it around without constantly removing the straps? In the description, you only mention the HM61R, and somehow I can't imagine how I would do it with my light. It is not possible to use the light only on a ski helmet because it keeps sliding up. Zdravim, mam svetlo Fenix HM65R, ktore chcem pouzivat na nocny skialp. Hore ho mam na ciapke ale pri zjazde pouzivam prilbu. Je moznost pouzit tento drziak + svetlo tak aby som ho len prehadzoval bez staleho odmontovavania popruhov? V popise spominate len HM61R a nejak si neviem predstavit ako by som to s mojim svetlom spravil. Pouzivat svetlo len na lyziarskej prilbe nejde kedze sa stale sklzava hore. Dakujem.

Dobrý deň prajem,
keďže modely "T“ boli navrhnuté špeciálne na beh a ľahké nastavenie počas neho, nie sú primárne určené na použitie na prilbe - takže ani použitie držiaku ALG-03 nie je v základe optimálne a výrobca ho neodporúča.
Ale podarilo sa mi dohľadať, že niektorí používatelia odstránili (zrejme natrvalo) popruhy a tak boli schopný používať HM65R-T aj s týmto držiakom, no osobne to bohužiaľ vyskúšané nemáme.

On the POC Kortal Race MIPS, it holds my HM65R well and I have no fear that it might fall out. How long the double-sided adhesive tape will last is questionable, but there is also a second adhesive.
