Black Crows Navis 2015/16 skis, 102 mm, green
Navis 2015/16
The width of 102 mm under the heel will be appreciated during quick feeding, when you need to suddenly avoid a rock or zigzag between trees in the forest. The universal width will add agility to your ride in medium bends and you will also enjoy the downhill. In a long arc, it will not be difficult for you to keep the ski on the edge even at higher speeds. The medium-hard longitudinal flex gives the ski durability and easy handling, which will allow you to drive dynamically all day long, without having to have iron legs. Navis is a powerful universal ski with which you can enjoy both open terrain and groomed piste from October to May.
Enjoy the entire resort from autumn to late spring
- Width 102 mm - on a hard piste you will comfortably keep the ski on the edge and in soft deep snow you will have sufficient buoyancy - a comfortable ride will allow you to spend the whole day on the slope from the beginning to the end of the season
- Medium flex - will allow you to drive variable - you can easily handle a brisk middle curve, but the skis will give you stability in a long curve - chutes, plains, forest or slopes will not be a problem for you
- Rocker in the tip - shortens the active edge on a hard surface, e.g. downhill, but in powder or spring snow it has excellent buoyancy - you will appreciate the ease of driving, whatever the conditions
- Long nose/long tail - extended tip and heel - in soft snow the ski leads stably and does not tend to "bite" when turning, but on hard snow it behaves like a shorter, easy-to-manage ski - your ride will be dynamic and predictable
Thanks to the easy handling, you will enjoy a dynamic ride
- Progressive rocker in the tip - it will make your ride easier by easily entering the curve
- A small rocker on the heel - a less aggressive heel allows you to easily pivot and change direction quickly
- Softened tip - you can bend the ski in the arc even with a weak impulse, which will make it easy and fast for you to control the skis
Stability in speed will allow you to move your options
- Long camber - in long curves and speed you will feel safe and stable thanks to the long effective edge with great contact with the snow
- Poplar core - a heavier wood that perfectly absorbs vibrations and is flexible at the same time - you can overcome uneven terrain without the ski becoming unmanageable
- Fiberglass reinforcement under the middle - gives the ski longitudinal flexibility - you will feel stable at speed
- Bi and triaxial fiberglass reinforcement along the entire length - high torsional stiffness - the skis hold the trail perfectly on the edge - at high speed you can lean on the ski with full force, thanks to the confidence you can allow yourself to go even faster and more dynamically

You can enjoy riding Black Crows in all snow conditions
Bruno Compagnet and Camille Jaccoux, two icons of the racing world of freeriding, Freeride World Tour. Bruno – the first European ever to win the Freeride World Championship in Alaska. Camille - former member of the French ski team, stunt double of James Bond. They met in Chamonix and one evening over a beer, they agreed that the market simply lacked skis with which they could go down from Aigulle du Midi to Chamonix. Ones that would work great on all types of snow typical of European slopes - from hard, blown top, to powder, to wet firn in the valley.
A year later, they introduced the first corvus skis, which brought a completely unique shape to the freeriding world under the Black Crows brand, and with it a new standard. They are committed to the fact that every single ski must meet the conditions of great riding properties on all types of snow.
Black crows skis for a perfect riding experience
The reason for the excellent riding properties of the entire collection of black crows skis is primarily their unique shape. The skis are perfectly tuned based on many years of experience and constant testing of the prototype of each ski directly in the mountain conditions of Chamonix, which lasts 2-3 seasons. The alchemy of their production lies in a balanced combination of profile, flex, ski cut and used materials.
Behind the unique shape of black crows skis is Julien Regnier - an Olympic finalist from Nagano, who is currently considered the best shaper of skis in the world. Together with a team of other great riders, he works tirelessly to ensure that black crows skis with each new collection get something extra to the already excellent riding properties.
A unique design that never gets old
When we put the first corvus ski from 2007 next to a piece from the last collection, it's hard to guess which one is old and which is new. In short, black crows skis are timeless, ageless, have been and will be elegant, and you will never get lost in a crowd with them.
Behind their unique style is the prestigious Parisian design studio Yorg Tloupas, who is also one of the founders of the brand. Their 17/18 collection was included in the collection of the Museum of Modern Art in Paris.
Skiing is about people, mountains, emotions and experiences.
