Petzl ASTRO BOD FAST work harness, INT version
The ASTRO BOD FAST full-body harness with an integrated CROLL L exit blocker is designed for higher efficiency and comfort during rope ascents. The detachable front connection point enables optimal integration of equipment (blocker, connecting device, seat...). The wide, semi-rigid waist and leg straps provide excellent support. They are shaped and lined with breathable foam padding for comfort when hanging. The DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles on the back straps connecting the waist and pants allow shorter adjustments when using the back connection point. The harness also makes it easy to carry and organize gear with multiple material loops and slots for attaching CARITOOL material carriers and TOOLBAG tool cases. On each shoulder strap there is a holder for storing the connectors of the MGO connector with a fall shock absorber. It is certified according to North American and European standards. The international version of the ASTRO BOD FAST has leg straps equipped with automatic FAST buckles.
Detachable front attachment point:
Connection of the PROGRESS connector directly to the connection point without the use of a coupling
- Connecting the CROLL exit blocker to the front connection point for greater efficiency during rope ascents
- Connecting the PODIUM seat enables direct connection to abseiling equipment and at the same time guarantees mobility
Extremely comfortable construction:
Semi-rigid, wide waist and leg straps for excellent support; shaped and lined with breathable foam padding for hanging comfort
- Padded shoulder straps are cut wide to reduce neck chafing when the belt is loaded, helping to spread the load over the shoulders
- Lateral textile connection points with a plastic insert reduce weight and volume and ensure easy connection of equipment
Convenient settings:
- The belt is equipped with DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles for quick and easy adjustment
- The shoulder straps are equipped with one DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckle and one FAST automatic buckle for quick and easy donning of the harness
- The leg straps are equipped with FAST automatic buckles for quick and easy on and off without having to readjust them, even when wearing gloves
- The DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles in the back part of the harness, on the straps connecting the belt and the pants, allow adjustment for connection to the back connection point
- In the event of a fall to this point, the shorter setting allows the load to be transferred to the leg straps, so the user can remain suspended more comfortably while waiting for rescue.

Six preformed material loops with a protective cover
- Two slots for CARITOOL material carriers
- Two slots for the TOOLBAG tool case
- Shoulder straps equipped with holders for the connectors of the MGO connector with a fall absorber, so that the loops do not interfere with work and at the same time are immediately available

- Front connection point: connection of abseiling device, positioning connector for use in simple mode, progressive connector and seat
- Lateral connection points: connection of positioning coupling means for use in dual mode
- Chest attachment point: fall arrest system attachment
- Back connection point: connection of the fall arrest system
- Rear connection point of the belt: connection of the restraint system
