There was a significant demand to offer a wide, voluminous / training shoe in the offroad line, which can carry even a heavy runner and withstand the maximum load. And that's why the X-TALON ULTRA 260 comes in. The sole is based on the X-TALON 225, with the difference that the studs have a larger area to support heavier runners. The height of the cleats is 8 mm, it will surely and safely get you out of any mud or deep melting snow. The peripheral part of the sole has a harder compound for a perfect grip in mud and snow, the inner part, on the other hand, has soft contact rubber with excellent adhesion on stones and rock. The height of the spikes is 8 mm.
The PowerFlow midsole has a drop of 8 mm and is composed of two parts. The heel part has a softer compound and offers a 10% higher level of damping, the front part has a higher density, so it is slightly harder and will offer a more accurate and effective bounce. The DFB polymer ring, which copies the shape of the plantar fascia, is inserted between the sole and the midsole, ends behind the edge of the metatarsal, and easily aids rebound (spring effect) in an efficient running style.
The height parameters of the midsole are as follows: heel 16 mm, toe 8 mm, this corresponds to a drop of 8 mm. The comfort inside the shoe is slightly increased by the folding insole, which has a constant height of 6 mm and is made of a softened PowerFlow mixture.
Ballistic nylon with a water-resistant coating ensures the unchanged shape of the upper even in case of total soaking, while the seamlessness of the upper offers great comfort. The triple-reinforced tip will protect your toes from kicking various rocks. The upper is enormously strong and due to this, it is understandably possible to reduce the breathability of the shoe. The soft heel is sensitive to the heels and achilles, and in the case of growths on the heel, it can be easily activated and adapted to such deformed feet (require the procedure from the seller).
You will appreciate the unrivaled grip of this shoe on the longest obstacle courses in orienteering or on difficult technical trails.
