BEAL SunRise Unicore Dry Cover rope
Lightweight dynamic 9.2 mm rope certified as a single rope. With Dry Cover braid impregnation, it will be a great companion for outdoor climbing on sand and granite. The rope is equipped with UNICORE ® technology, which increases the safety and durability of the rope by combining the core and the braid. It is the first rope in the world to be made from 100% chemically recycled polyamide with a carbon footprint 78% lower than ropes made using a standard process.In addition to using recycled material, which prevents new resources from being extracted from the earth, the chemical recycling process helps limit the carbon footprint of the product itself. While many recycled products today produce more CO2 than new materials, this is not the case with the Nexis CC yarns used in this rope. While 1 kg of standard Polyamide 6 generates 6.97 kg of CO2, Polyamide 6 CC generates only 1.53 kg of CO2.
