A newly redesigned version of one of the most versatile trail running shoes.
The ROCLITE concept has gained a huge number of fans in recent years thanks to its reliability and grip in technical terrain and its ability to handle even longer sections on paved roads. The most successful model in this family has become the ROCLITE G 275, which has now received a newly redesigned and improved version.
The base of the shoe remains the same. A meticulously tuned outsole with 6 mm high studs that bite into mud and stones and won't let go even on steep descents. The contact area of the studs is large enough so that the tread does not twist when running on hard surfaces and holds well on asphalt or rocks. Thanks to the presence of graphene, you can expect an uncompromising ratio between grip and durability.
The cushioning layer retains its proven geometry with an 8 mm drop and 16 mm of material under the heel. However, the foam has been changed, and you will now find POWERFLOW MAX. A highly energetic foam with excellent comfort and dynamics. The change in material itself elevates the comfort and speed of the ROCLITE 275 to a whole new level.
Significant changes can be found in the upper. It still has a medium width (3), but the cut, materials, and reinforcements have been completely redesigned. The new ROCLITE is sufficiently snug and firm around the instep to support you even in technically demanding terrain, while providing much more space for the transverse arch and toes than ever before. External heel and ankle stabilizers ensure maximum control and stability. The toes are protected by a double rubber bumper, and the overall durability of the upper is complemented by a new, robust mesh.
The basic elements of the shoe thus remain very similar to what you might be used to with ROCLITE. The changes in cushioning and upper then elevate the comfort, dynamics, and durability of the shoe to a much higher level.
