Combination of synthetic and wool for maximum durability and functionality
The ORTOVOX COL BECCHEI SHORTS emphasize breathability and wind resistance. Therefore, the main material used is MERINO NATURETEC LIGHT softshell from the Swiss company Schoeller®, which provides excellent breathability and stretch, yet is wind-resistant. Wool on the inside quickly wicks away sweat and provides warmth even after the shorts get sweaty.
Reliable wind and water resistance
In the front, there are inserts made of a special three-layer WARP KNIT material with a windproof membrane, which protect against adverse weather while remaining breathable. Air pockets in the fabric provide light insulation.
The back uses a DERMIZAX ® NX membrane, which is completely windproof and waterproof. The width-adjustable waistband with a drawstring allows for easy adjustment, and its merino wool lining provides even greater comfort. Full-length side zippers allow for quick on and off of the shorts.
Only flat seams are used on the legs, which do not cause any pressure. For environmental protection, the shorts are PFC-free.
Highest quality Merino wool
ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania. Merino wool is a material that degrades negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. Merino wool comes only from selected farms that meet the strict ORTOVOX WOOL PROMISE (OWP) standards.
