You simply put on and take off

FROSTLINE MEN'S SHORT have two-way zippers on both sides of the thighs. Both zippers are fully unfastened, thanks to which you can put on or take off the shorts quickly and easily at any time without the need to take them off or get out of the binding. They are the ideal companion for demanding winter hikes, where minimum weight and maximum performance are required. Whether at the top or at any time during the ascent, you simply put on the shorts and they warm you up in an instant. You can also use them great as an insulation layer under a hardshell.

100% recycled DRILITE® Loft 20 D - water and wind resistant

DRILITE® Loft 20 D is a strong and light waterproof surface material with a PU coating. It is 100% recycled, highly breathable and resistant to water and wind. It also has a water-repellent PFC-free DWR treatment on the surface, which further contributes to keeping the feathers dry even in wet conditions. The feathers are thus protected from getting wet and thus also from losing their heat-insulating properties. Thanks to its water resistance and low weight, the feathers maintain a high loft for maximum thermal insulation in any conditions.

Quality duck feathers with 700+ fill

Very high-quality duck feathers originating from China contain at least 90% down, its filling is at least 700 cuin and meets the ethical DOWN CODEX®. The feathers are gently cleaned with water without chemical treatment. This destroys mites and the environment for their life, which will be appreciated by allergy sufferers. Feathers retain their important fatness and loft, are packable well, have high insulation and low weight.

Every year, the farms from which Mountain Equipment buys feathers are inspected by the independent Swiss organization IDFL to meet the highest quality parameters. This guarantees a high quality of living conditions for the animals and thus also the quality of the feathers. One does not work without the other.

Each product with feathers has a unique code, under which the origin of the feathers and its parameters can be traced.
A comprehensive and transparent system for auditing the origin of feathers, from all brands and anywhere in the world.
In Mountain Equipment products, feathers are always just a by-product of meat or egg farming.

Two-year guarantee without compromise

Equipment must always be relied upon. So if something is wrong, you have an uncompromising two-year warranty. If you discover a manufacturing defect, send the goods to us and we will hand them over directly to the service center in Munich, which will take care of the rest.

Post-warranty service

If you damage the equipment yourself, the service center in Munich will repair it. Just send it to us and we will take care of everything.
