ORTOVOX Peak Light 30 S backpack, 30 l, hot/coral
A technical and bulky backpack to which you can attach a large amount of equipment, from trekking poles to ropes, ice axes to skis. Anyone who cares about weight and does not want to lose important functional elements will appreciate the possibility of reaching up to 690 g of weight. The innovative SWISSWOOL-TEC-KNIT back system is very comfortable and only ORTOVOX PEAK LIGHT models have it. You open the backpack on the front side using a double-sided perimeter zipper and get into it like a suitcase. Thanks to the bright interior, you can easily find everything you need.
DRY BEEF
One of the advantages of the ORTOVOX PEAK LIGHT 30 S backpack is the SWISSWOOL-TEC-KNIT back system combining premium materials and the latest technologies. The back system consists of a removable duralumin structure, technical foam and three zones of compressed wool - in the place where the most frequent contact with the back occurs. Wool absorbs 29 times more sweat than a regular foam back and does not cool like other materials. The entire back of the backpack is covered with 3D knitted material. Physiotherapists also participated in this back system with the developers of ORTOVOX.EVEN DISTRIBUTION OF WEIGHT
The weight distribution is ensured by the padded wide waist belt and shoulder straps, which are cushioned on the inside so that they do not press on your neck. The shoulder straps are ergonomically adapted to the human figure. These straps can be tightened not only from below, but also from above, and the backpack will adapt better to your figure. The hip belt is connected directly to the back system and smoothly passes and surrounds the body. You won't feel any joints and will enjoy comfortable walking or climbing all day long.Equipment attachment system
To the ORTOVOX PEAK LIGHT 30 S backpack you can attach all the necessary equipment for high-altitude tourism, mountaineering and ski mountaineering. Every piece of equipment has its place, it is fixed firmly, and it is quick and easy to put on and take down.- skis (A-Skifix)
- rope
- two ice axes
- sticks
- helmet
- carbines
- ice ax in standby position (loop on shoulder strap)
Comfortable access to the contents of the backpack
You can get to the main compartment of the backpack through two entrances. The first option is to unzip the entire front of the backpack using a two-way perimeter zipper, similar to a suitcase. The second variant is through the collar in the upper lid of the backpack with SIMPLY & FAST fastening. The collar can be pulled down by pulling the string. Entry will only be allowed when you pull the plastic clip and thereby release the system lock.Well-thought-out pocket system
The backpack has several practical pockets. Each compartment and pocket has its purpose and allows you to have things at hand whenever it is needed.- The space inside the main chamber offers attachment of avalanche equipment - shovels and probes.
- The main compartment has an elastic strap to secure a water bottle or reservoir and a clip to attach it – plus the option to route the tube in the middle of the backpack between the shoulder straps.
- Front zip pocket - for map, topo and compass.
- Outer lid pocket for storing active accessories - cap, gloves, scarf, etc.
- There is also a plastic carabiner for keys in the outer pocket of the lid.
- Inner lid pocket for storing small equipment - headlamp, knife, documents, cash and valuables.
- The pocket on the hip belt is suitable for a mobile phone, camera, GPS.
Robust processing
Extremely light, durable and high-quality nylon fabric Nylon 420D Oxford is used on the backpack. Thanks to the use of two different technical fibers, this material is exceptionally robust and resistant to abrasion. In addition, nylon is one of the lightest materials used in ORTOVOX backpacks. The PU coating on the inside gives the backpack the necessary water resistance, which is further supported by the DWR treatment on its outside.Lightening the backpack up to 690 g
The weight of the backpack with all functional elements is 1070 g, but you can lighten it up to 690 g. You can achieve this thanks to the removable waist belt padding and removable duralumin back structure. The last step of lightening the backpack is folding the backpack lid.Practical functional elements also think about your safety
The backpack also includes additional straps and a net for the helmet. There is a whistle for emergency signaling on the height-adjustable chest strap. The lid of the backpack has a sewn-in pocket with an EMERGENCY CARD – a card with personal and health data. The hip belt also has a loop for climbing material and you can hang the ice ax on the shoulder strap, where there is an integrated loop, so that you always have it at hand. < /p>The innovative triangular construction of the lid enables the rope to be firmly and reliably attached to the backpack. In addition, this lid can be easily removed and stored in the main compartment of the backpack, where it can still be easily accessed via a practical zipper. The pocket in the lid is divided into two parts. Thanks to taped seams, the lid is also fully water-resistant. After folding the lid, the backpack can be attached to a rope thanks to two strong straps and pulled comfortably along the wall.
In the version with a shorter back
This version of the "S" backpack is designed for people with a back length of 36 to 44 cm. However, the ORTOVOX PEAK LIGHT backpack can also be purchased in a variant for those of you with a back length between 42 and 50 cm. The length of the back is counted from 7. cervical vertebra to the upper part of the pelvis. The backpack is not only modified in the length of the back, but also changes in the shape of the shoulder straps and adjustment of the waist belt. The backpack thus fits perfectly and holds more firmly on the back.Uncompromising 5-year warranty
