By combining the two materials GORE-TEX 50 D and GORE-TEX 75 D, Mountain Equipment has created pants that are very light and at the same time very durable for all-day wear in demanding mountain conditions. With the ergonomic cut of Women's Active Fit, you will not be restricted in your movement. The MAKALU WOMEN'S PANT is not just a backup pant if the weather fails. These are full-fledged hardshell pants for all-day wear. They have unzipped pants up to ¾ length and an adjustable waist.

  • Fully recycled 3-layer GORE-TEX with a fiber strength of 50 D treated with a water-resistant DWR treatment without PFCEC (PFC of ecological concern).
  • 3-layer GORE-TEX with a fiber strength of 75 D treated with a water-resistant DWR treatment without PFCEC (PFC of ecological concern) - reinforced material in stressed parts (shoulders).
  • Waterproof smooth seams (you won't see any threads on the outside) - they last much longer (seams don't unravel), eliminate the absorption of moisture through the threads, they are additionally taped with waterproof tapes.
  • Women's Active Fit – narrower cut for active movement, so you won't be restricted by any excess material when walking. Pre-shaped knees for comfortable movement even in difficult terrain.
  • Wedge crotch - for unrestricted movement.
  • Elastic waist with the option of tightening with a rubber band.
  • ¾ two-way YKK ® WR side zippers with inner leg.
  • Adjustable bottom hem with Velcro.

The MAKALU WOMEN'S PANT membrane pants are largely made of recycled 3-layer GORE-TEX material, thanks to which they provide long-term and reliable protection against the elements. In addition, they are ecological and comfortable to wear all day.

For active movement

Thanks to the Women's Active Fit cut, you will have the feeling that they are tailor-made for you. They have a narrower cut, so you won't be restricted by any excess material when walking. You will appreciate this, for example, on the ridge if it is very windy. Your body will create less resistance and it will be easier for you to go against the wind.

 

The side zippers of the renowned YKK ® WR brand make it easy to wear trousers even over large shoes. They are up to ¾ of the length of the pants, so wearing them over heels or big shoes is not a problem.

Reliable and ecological

The goal was to create light but at the same time very durable waterproof pants for the mountains, which will not only serve as a backup piece of clothing for rainy weather. MAKALU WOMEN'S PANT are very durable and practical hardshell pants. Stressed parts are made of durable GORE-TEX material with a fiber strength of 75 D, which is a guarantee of a long service life. Despite the fact that the pants seem very soft, you don't have to be afraid to use them in difficult conditions.
