Three-layer GORE-TEX® membrane
Every centimeter of the jacket is made of three-layer GORE-TEX ® PRO 80 D. We reckon that where you're headed, you need to rely 100% on the durability of your equipment and can bite off an extra gram. The jacket is completely waterproof, as is customary with GORE-TEX ®, and is excellently breathable.
The most perfect seams
Little things make a big difference. The seams of selected Mountain Equipment hardshell jackets, including the CHANGBANG JACKET, are sewn using smooth seams. You won't see any threads on the outside of the jacket. A jacket sewn in this way lasts much longer, because the seam threads do not rub against the backpack, rock and other materials. Even this sophisticated method of production is a guarantee for you that we will really put up with the quality and refinement of our products.
Helmet hood
There are situations when it is impossible to do without a hood. And this jacket takes that for granted. Therefore, the CHANGBANG JACKET has a specially shaped Mountain HC Hood, which is compatible with a climbing helmet. It is equipped with a reinforced peak and the hood can be adjusted so that it fits perfectly even without a helmet.
Four large pockets, one ski pass pocket and underarm ventilation
Everything you need, anytime at hand. Four large pockets with lasered openings fitted with the highest grade of waterproof YKK ® Aquaguard ® zippers. On the left sleeve is a small pocket for the ski pass. In the armpit you will find ventilation with waterproof YKK ® Water Resistant zippers.
The perfect shape of the sleeves from the shoulder to the wrist
The sleeves of the CHANGBANG JACKET are made of one piece with inserts placed so that the sleeve is natural in every position and does not restrict you in any movement. The cuffs of the sleeves are slanted, so they fit perfectly regardless of movements and at the same time protect against snow, wind and rain much better than straight cuts.
Detachable snow belt
On the inside, you will find a snow belt, which we designed with real precision. But you have the option to leave it at home at any time. Just unfasten it with the zipper.
Zips that really don't get wet
For the pockets and the main zipper, we used the highest model range of the renowned YKK ® brand, specifically the AquaGuard ® type. If water still gets through the zipper, there is a GORE-TEX ® PRO layer on the inside, after which the water flows down and continues out through a small hole in the lower part of the zipper. Thoughtful, right? The all-over zip of the jacket is two-way and has a patent lock at the bottom. If you put on the jacket all the way to the stand and don't want to put it under the seat harness, then you unbutton the lower part of the jacket and secure it with a patent under the fuse. You will be perfectly protected, but the jacket will not hinder you when working with the rope. Why not make your stay at the stand as pleasant as possible?
