The MAKALU WOMEN'S JACKET is sewn from the new ecological ePE membrane from GORE-TEX. This jacket is very light, yet very durable for all-day wear in demanding mountain conditions, even with a heavy backpack. With the Women's Alpine Fit cut, you won't have a problem layering sufficiently in cold weather. Moreover, it does not contain FC, so it is environmentally friendly.
- 3-layer GORE-TEX ePE with 75D fiber thickness treated with water-repellent DWR treatment without FC , the ePE membrane does not contain FC and the face fabric is recycled - low carbon footprint.
- Mountain HC hood – helmet-compatible hood, fully adjustable even for wear without a helmet.
- Women's fit Women's Alpine Fit – a looser fit for unrestricted movement.
- Pre-shaped sleeves with a tapered hem and Velcro fastening. The top of the shoulders and sleeves are made from a single piece that extends from the neck to the wrist. It is complemented by small inserts that give it a perfect shape and functionality.
- Waterproof smooth seams (you won't see any threads on the outside) - they last much longer (seams don't fray), eliminate moisture absorption through threads, and are additionally taped with waterproof tapes.
- Two-way YKK®Aquaguard® central zipper with an inner placket and a snap at the bottom - When belaying, you can unzip the lower part of the jacket and secure it with a snap under the belay loop. The jacket will not interfere with your work with the rope.
- Adjustment of the lower hem circumference using a drawstring. Separate drawstring for adjusting the front and back parts, so there is no risk of snagging on a carabiner when attaching it to the gear loop of the harness.
- 2 large hand pockets with YKK® WR zippers.
- Napoleon chest pocket with YKK® WR zipper.
- Laminated laser-cut internal chest pocket for valuables with YKK® zipper.
- Underarm ventilation with YKK® WR zippers.
