Waffle construction that insulates better and reduces weight

The waffle construction offers not only better moisture removal and breathability, but thanks to a larger number of air pockets, it also warms more than most wool sweatshirts of this weight (210g/m ² ). Another advantage is faster drying. Waffle construction is used on the inside in the form of knitting into small squares.

Light, comfortable and with freedom of movement

The MERINO LIGHT FLEECE sweatshirt is thin, soft, elastic and has an ergonomic cut. This ensures mobility and the sweatshirt will not restrict you in any way even during dynamic movements. At the same time, it offers maximum wearing comfort thanks to the finest Merino wool.

It still looks like new

The outer side of the sweatshirt is made of polyester, which is very durable, elastic and supports quick drying. Its biggest advantage is its shape stability and really long service life. The combination of polyester and the waffle construction of the inner woolen side creates a neoprene effect, where heat is held in air pockets on the inner side, and the outer polyester knit prevents blowing out and basically creates a barrier against heat loss.

This legendary German company named Ortovox has been specializing in challenging mountain activities since 1980. They became popular, thanks to their avalanche transceiver ORTOVOX F2. It had a double frequency transceiver for searching avalanche victims.
