The new Rough Light 700 is a robust, high-performance headlamp from the SILVA Professional range. You can rely on a performance of 700 lm, a beam distance of 105m, and IP68 resistance - for prolonged submersion up to 1m, all with a total weight of 131g. Rescuers, craftsmen, technicians... will appreciate these advantages of the Rough Light 700. What's original about this headlamp is the clever Mag-Snap magnetic system, which allows you to easily and quickly detach the lamp from the elastic headband and clip it into the included helmet mount, or attach it to a helmet. Two white LEDs, thanks to Intelligent Light technology, provide uniform light distribution both for distance and periphery in four light output intensities: 700, 300, 100, and 15 lm. For undisturbed night vision, the headlamp is equipped with orientation red and orange LEDs. The rechargeable USB-C Li-Ion battery with a capacity of 7.5Wh charges in 2 hours and is permanently integrated, which achieves maximum IP68 resistance. After 500 charge/discharge cycles, the battery capacity decreases by approx. 30%. Four side LEDs indicate the charge level and the lock status of the button against accidental activation of the headlamp. For better handling and increased mechanical resistance, the edges of the headlamp are equipped with rubber reinforcement. Comfortable wide headband with an inner silicone part for good stability on the head. Use in the temperature range from -30 °C to +50 °C. Technical parameters of Silva headlamps are measured according to the ANSI FL1 standard. Battery life is given as the time until the light output drops to 10% of the initial value measured 30 seconds after switching on, not the time of complete discharge, after which the headlamp enters reserve mode. Battery life is affected by ambient temperature and activity type, e.g., during running or cycling, the reflector is better cooled, while negative temperatures reduce battery capacity. Beam distance is stated as the distance at which the illumination intensity drops to 0.25 lux. This is approximately the illumination intensity produced by a full moon on a clear night.
