CAMP Safety DRUID is a light and compact descender with automatic locking for work at height and rescue teams. The brake is designed for static ropes with a diameter of 9.9 - 11 mm. A high level of safety is ensured by the "anti-panic" function, which in case of excessive pressure on the trigger lever automatically locks the brake, thus immediately stopping the descent or rappelling. The body and lever are made of a strong forged aluminum alloy. Moving parts are made of precision cast stainless steel. The arrangement of the internal cam mechanism is patented and offers very smooth rope control along with a gentle slip in case of fall arrest, thus saving the rope and increasing its lifespan. Feeding the rope during belaying is facilitated by a protrusion for the right index finger, located on the movable part of the cam near the belay loop. With the index finger, just open the cam and quickly feed a longer piece of the gathered rope. In case of accidental fall into such a released cam, the belayer has no chance to hold the cam released with one finger, the cam will immediately engage when the rope is tensioned and prevent its slip. The steel eyelet serves to attach the descender to a fixed point, preventing it from falling to the ground. Certification: EN 12841 / C: descender for work rope with a maximum load of up to 120 kg, can also be used for rescue at height with a maximum load of up to 200 kg EN 341 / 2A: rescue and evacuation descender for 11 mm static ropes with a maximum load of up to 120 kg EN 15151: for climbing structures using climbing techniques with dynamic ropes with a diameter of 9.9 - 11 mm Features: Work descender Anti-panic system Dynamic rope slip during fall arrest Quick rope feeding Small metal eyelet for attachment The belay loop can be used to clip the carabiner with a lock For ropes 9.9 - 11 mm Use: Rope access, tree climbing / Arboristics, professional rescue, self-belay, confined spaces Parameters: Warranty: 2 years Weight: 280 g Strength: 15 kN Rope diameter: 9.9 mm - 11.5 mm Maximum load: 200 kg EN 12841 / CEN 341 / 2A EN 15151 Material: Forged aluminum alloy (body + lever) Stainless steel (dynamic cam + internal parts)
