Singing rock ASC LINK chest ascender

Singing-rock ASC LINK is a patented solution that combines a chest ascender and a triple-lock carabiner into one compact unit. The assembly is designed for safe and comfortable rope ascent, improves rope handling, and ensures a stable position of the ascender on the harness without restricting movement. The ascender is placed close to the attachment point, allowing for a faster ascent and simultaneously eliminating sharp edges that could damage the webbing.

The system allows for easy disconnection of the chest and seat parts of a full-body harness, and its assembly or disassembly is done using a 2.5 mm Allen key. During installation, the ascender is slid onto the carabiner and secured with a locking screw, which is protected under the ascender's lock and secured against accidental loosening. After removing the ascender, the carabiner can be used as a connector according to EN 362. The ascender can be replaced on the carabiner with a plastic cover, which is part of the set. The toothed segment of the ascender is made of stainless steel with high corrosion resistance, and each piece has a unique serial number for easier record-keeping and periodic inspections.

ASC LINK is designed for use with ropes with a diameter of 8 – 13 mm, in accordance with EN 12841 with a static rope of Ø 10 – 13 mm with a maximum load of 140 kg, and according to EN 567 with a rope of Ø 8 – 13 mm.
