A slightly curved climbing shoe utilizing our M4 technology. The Tanta, which borrows many elements from our top-of-the-line models, offers exceptional comfort and outstanding performance. The slightly downturned toe and the Velcro closure system adapt perfectly to different foot widths. These are perfect climbing shoes in which you will improve your climbing abilities and gain greater connection with the rock.

  • Maximum comfort while maintaining the characteristic elements of performance models.
  • Perfectly adaptable for different foot widths.
  • Wide-opening tongue for easy on and off.
  • Reinforced toe for increased abrasion resistance and excellent edging capability.
  • Four-layer micro insole for perfect force distribution.

Step Up LINE – balanced climbing shoes

Tenaya TANTA climbing shoes belong to the Step Up Line. They are specially designed for easier and more intuitive foot placement on any type of surface. Exceptionally comfortable, that's how the Tanta climbing shoes are, which will improve your footwork and increase your connection with the rock. With their properties, they will best suit you on vertical or slightly overhanging routes, whether on rock or an artificial wall.
  • Rigidity 3.5/5 – medium hard/hard. The higher the number, the harder the climbing shoe. With harder climbing shoes, steps can be loaded with more force.
  • Sensitivity 3/5 – medium sensitive/sensitive. The higher the number and thus the greater the sensitivity, the more information you can get about the step you are standing on.
  • FWR (foot width) 5/5 – the FWR value expresses how well the climbing shoe can adapt to the width of the foot. Generally, at higher FWR values, the climbing shoes will fit better on a wider foot.

You can stand on practically anything

Climbing shoes from the Spanish manufacturer Tenaya, model TANTA, are designed for climbing vertical and slightly overhanging walls, where footholds are often non-existent or difficult to discern. Micro footholds, cracks, slabs, or corner climbing. The "TANTAS" are at home everywhere. You will also use them excellently for all-day climbing in the Alps or Tatras.
