The heat-molded heel is extremely stable for any heel hooking. The sole extended over the toe will support you in toe hooking. Even though it is more of a bouldering shoe, it does not lose performance when climbing with a rope on rock or artificial walls.Tenaya MASTIA climbing shoes belong to the AERIAL PLUS LINE, which offers top-notch features for performance climbers. Their shape and downturn are aggressive, making them suitable for overhanging routes, small holds on vertical walls, or slabs. Despite their aggressive shape, they are very comfortable, which is unusual for performance climbing shoes.
- Rigidity 4/5 – medium-hard. The higher the number, the harder the climbing shoe. Harder climbing shoes allow you to put more force on the holds
- Sensitivity 4/5 – high sensitivity. The higher the number and thus the greater the sensitivity, the more information you can get about the hold you are standing on
- FWR (foot width) 4.5/5 – the FWR value expresses how well the climbing shoe can adapt to the width of the foot. Generally, higher FWR values mean the climbing shoes will fit wider feet better
