The Petzl RIG REPAIRABLE is a compact, repairable descender designed for experienced rope access workers and technical rescue professionals. Its ergonomic handle provides precise control of descent speed and facilitates work in suspension. The integrated AUTO-LOCK function allows for quick and easy securing in a work position without the need for additional locking.

Guide surfaces and pictograms on the body of the descender facilitate correct rope installation. The pivoting side plate can be opened even when the device is attached to the harness, simplifying passage through sequential anchor points. The descender offers two rope routing options for optimal friction regulation and can be used directly on the harness or at an anchor point. Once the rope is locked, short ascents can be performed without manipulating the handle, and the device can also be used for belaying the lead climber using climbing techniques.

The RIG REPAIRABLE is designed for long-term and intensive use. Friction zones are reinforced with a durable insert, and the cam shape improves rope grip and reduces wear. If worn, the cam and pin can be replaced using a separately sold repair kit, significantly extending the device's lifespan.
