DRILITE® is a hydrophilic, monolithic membrane that has all three important properties – water resistance, breathability, and abrasion resistance. Its hydrostatic head is 20,000 mm and its breathability reaches a water vapor transmission rate of 20,000 g/sqm/24. The membrane works by transporting water vapor through the molecular structure of the membrane, while simultaneously forming a barrier against the penetration of water molecules from the outside. The advantage of this membrane is its low weight and good packability.
Practical ¾ YKK® zippers ensure easy donning even over boots. The zippers themselves are backed so the zipper is not in direct contact with the skin.
