Grivel Air Tech Evo T Hammer ice axe, yellow
The Grivel Air Tech Evo Hammer is a versatile ice axe for demanding high-mountain tours and easier mixed terrain. The one-piece forged steel head provides reliable hooking and a balanced swing, while the hammer allows for easy piton hammering. The slightly curved shaft increases clearance when working with the head and improves control in steeper terrain.
The lower part of the shaft with a rubberized grip hooks well and holds comfortably during ascents on steep slopes. The metal pick penetrates snow and ice easily, and the hole in the head allows for clipping a carabiner or attaching a leash. Included is the Grivel G-Slider adjustable hand rest for better support and grip security.
