Grivel AIR TECH LIGHT Cramp-O-Matic EVO crampons
The Grivel AIR TECH LIGHT Cramp-O-Matic EVO are lightweight duralumin crampons designed for less demanding mountaineering ascents and glacier travel. Thanks to their sophisticated construction, they offer reliable grip and stability, but are not intended for rocky terrain.
Twelve sharp, serrated points ensure a secure step, while a special third row of shorter, wider points aids in traversing. The patented 3D Stamp technology increases the strength of individual parts, so despite their low weight, the crampons remain durable. The semi-automatic New-Matic binding system combines a classic front bail with a quick-release lever at the back and is suitable for rigid boots with a heel welt or ski touring boots.
The asymmetrical shape for the left and right foot improves boot fit. The front and rear sections are connected by a FLEX BAR segment, which allows for easy size adjustment, including the option to rotate for smaller boots. The Antibott system on the underside prevents snow buildup when stepping. The crampons are easily packable by sliding the front and rear sections into each other and folding down the plastic clips. They are supplied without a case, and selected spare parts are available.
