SKYLOTEC Leger BG carabiner, orange/grey

The SKYLOTEC Leger BG is a lightweight HMS carabiner made of forged aluminum alloy with an innovative Brilock screw lock, designed for alpinism, traditional, and sport climbing. Thanks to its wider side, it offers ample space for belaying with a half clove hitch and for rope maneuvers at the belay station, and is particularly suitable for use with belay devices. The body shaping ensures a secure grip, and the snag-free nose reduces the risk of snagging when clipping and unclipping the rope or gear.

 

The semi-automatic Brilock combines the simplicity of a classic screw lock with the security of automatic systems: it offers a neutral mode with a locked gate resistant to accidental opening, and an open mode for quick maneuvers. Ergonomic operation allows for comfortable one-handed opening, even with gloves.
