Mountain Equipment Superflux Hut Slipper slippers
The ideal companion for staying in a mountain hut or an expedition base camp tent. Thanks to the combination of POLARLOFT® Featherless synthetic insulation and Helium™ 20D upper material, the Superflux Hut Slippers are warm, light, and packable.The Helium™ 20D upper material is exceptionally light, packable, soft, and at the same time very durable. The high weave density ensures it is wind-resistant and prevents heat loss. This material is ideal where low weight and packability are the most important factors.
Polarloft® Featherless synthetic thermal insulation material is suitable for cold and permanently damp conditions. It doesn't mind getting wet, dries quickly, and has a great warmth-to-weight ratio with exceptionally small volume. It is made of fibers of different diameters, where, similar to down, thicker fibers maintain loft and thinner ones prevent unwanted air circulation. It fills chambers similarly to down, in small clusters, thanks to which it achieves much greater loft and is softer and more flexible than classic synthetic insulations that are inserted into chambers in whole sheets.
