It contains 57% merino wool, which keeps you warm even when wet, while maintaining minimal weight, and among other things, excels in its ability to regulate temperature and moisture. 41% polyamide and 2% elastane give it the necessary durability and elasticity.Highest Quality Merino Wool
ORTOVOX uses only the highest quality Merino wool from Tasmania for all its base layers. Merino wool is a material that degrades negligibly over time and retains its functional properties for many years. The length of all fibers used is at least 6 cm, which is not standard in the production of wool underwear. The longer the fibers, the stronger the yarns that can be obtained. This prevents the formation of holes when the material wears out. The quality of the fibers is determined primarily by their length, fineness, and the uniform diameter of individual fibers.ORTOVOX also has demanding criteria for sheep farming itself, which significantly affects the quality of its wool. To meet these, ORTOVOX buys wool only from selected farms that are subject to regular inspection. ORTOVOX checks 64 different quality criteria that each farm must meet. Thanks to this, the wool used in ORTOVOX underwear is only of the highest quality.
